The course aims are to recognise that abuse can occur in many everyday situations; recognising that it is right to draw attention to abusive behaviour as a matter of regular practice. To understand the different kinds of abuse or harm that may occur in a care setting; To be aware that abuse can be unintentional, learning to identify how service users may be abused or harmed, and by whom.
