Our moving and handling practical course aims to gain an awareness of safe techniques, risk assessments, legislation covering moving and handling, the spine and back care for us and our service users, controversial techniques that should not be used;the falling resident; the types of equipment available, and an overview of pressure area care focusing on prevention and early intervention.
